Growing up in Haiti taught us resilience, creativity, and the importance of community. It also revealed a reality shared by millions of young people around the world: talent alone is not enough. Without access to practical knowledge, mentorship, and opportunities, even the biggest dreams can feel out of reach.
Long before Couragier existed, one question kept coming back:
How can education become more practical, more accessible, and more life-changing?

When Everything Changed
Life doesn't always follow the plans we make.
During the final year of secondary school, a deeply personal loss changed everything. Despite the emotional weight, the goal remained the same: keep moving forward.
That experience became a powerful reminder that courage is not the absence of difficulty—it is the decision to continue despite it.
It was during that period that the first community initiatives began, creating spaces where young people could share ideas, encourage one another, and express themselves openly.
The desire to help others had already started long before Couragier had a name.
